What the manufacturer warranty does not cover: Normal wear and tear, improper installation, misuse, unauthorized repairs, commercial use, and damage from external factors such as weather, fire, or pests. Warranty coverage ends completely after 12 months. Pyra Care Plans begin exactly where that coverage ends.

What Pyra Care does not cover

External damage
Damage from weather events, fire, flooding, pests, or acts of nature are not covered under any plan.

Unauthorized repairs
Repairs or modifications made by a non-Pyra-authorized technician void coverage under all Care Plans.

Misuse or neglect
Damage from improper use, failure to follow care instructions, or commercial use is excluded from all plans.

Normal wear and tear
Surface fading, natural wood changes, and cosmetic aging over time are expected and not covered.

Relocation damage
Damage caused by moving the sauna after original installation is not covered under any plan.

Consumables
Sauna stones, bulbs, and other consumable accessories are not covered. Cleaning kits are a perk, not a replacement part.

Care Plan FAQ

When does my Pyra Care Plan start?
Your Pyra Care Plan is designed to complement your 1-year manufacturer warranty. You can purchase it at any time — before or after your warranty expires. Coverage activates immediately on purchase.
How is this different from the manufacturer warranty?
The free 1-year warranty covers manufacturing defects only and expires after 12 months. Pyra Care adds ongoing support, scheduled in-home visits, cleaning supplies, priority access, and a real relationship — for years beyond that.
Which plan is right for my sauna?
Essential and Care+ work great for all Lumin indoor models. We strongly recommend Care+ or Elite for Auris owners given the higher investment, outdoor exposure, and complexity of the heater systems.
What if I have a warranty issue in year one?
Email us at questions@pyrawellness.com and we handle it entirely. We coordinate your claim with the manufacturer directly so you don't have to navigate it alone.
Who does the in-home service visits?
We work with vetted local technician partners across the US. All visits are coordinated by our team and scheduled at a time that works with your calendar.
Can I upgrade my plan?
Yes — you can upgrade from Essential to Care+ or Elite at any time. Contact us at questions@pyrawellness.com and we'll apply a prorated credit toward your upgrade immediately.
